HISTORY
The name of the company comes from the terminology used during weapons training at the NYPD Police Academy.
When addressing a criminal suspect, the words "Police,
Don't Move!" are used to identify the officer and to
command the suspect to stop.
PDM Pictures (Police Don't Move) was created by NYPD Police
Officer John Baer. The company deals exclusively in law
enforcement photography.
